Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Mohammad Al-Mqdashi chaired Monday a meeting with the commission charged with reorganizing the military units.

The Minister was briefed about the steps the commission had achieved and difficulties faced in its task.

Lt. Gen. Al-Mqdashi highlighted the importance of developing the administrative and structural aspects of the army’s units in order to ensure the timely completion of tasks and works.

Al-Mqdashi stressed also the need to intensify the training and preparation programs to make well-trained soldiers, restore the security and stability of Yemen and to end the bloodshed projects of Iranian backed Houthi militia which aimed to threating security of Yemen, neighboring countries and international navigation.

He appreciated the role of the Saudi-led Arab coalition for backing legitimacy and their significant role, to end the coup by all means and their blood-stained sacrifices in this crucial joint battle.

Gen. Al-Mqdashi conveyed to the military leaders, greetings of His Excellency President of the Republic Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi, his Deputy and the Prime Minister.

The meeting was attended by army’s Gen Inspector, Adel Al-Qumairi and Joint Operations Commander Sagheer Bin Aziz.
