Yemen, Cuba discuss joint concern issues

Yemen’s Ambassador to Cuba Mohammad Nasher discussed Wednesday with Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at Cuban Foreign Ministry Ector EagarzaAksiad a number of issues of common concern.

Nasher acquainted Cuban official with political developments in Yemen after Houthi militia escalations and attacks on the transitional capital Aden and Abyan terrorist attacks, plotting against peace efforts.

He pointed out to Iranian interferences in Yemen and its failed attempts to face international isolation via moving its terrorist hands in the region to send messages to international community that it can affect and pose threats to international vital interests in region and the world.

Nasher confirmed government’s keenness on implementing peace on the three basic references and implementing Stockholm agreement, expressing Yemen’s appreciation to Cuba’s positions supporting government.

For his part, the Cuban official renewed his country’s support to the government of Yemen for realizing aspirations of Yemeni people.
