‘Coalition continues operations to support Yemen’s stability
The Saudi-led Arab coalition stressed on Monday that it will continue its operations to restore stability in Yemen, reinstate the legitimate government and liberate all Yemeni regions from the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia.
Coalition spokesman Col. Turki al-Maliki said that the recent escalation in the interim capital, Aden, by the Southern Transitional Council was “unfortunate” given the losses of life during the clashes.
The coalition worked with all political and social factions and the legitimate government in order to restore calm and return to dialogue and reason, he told a press conference in Riyadh.
al-Maliki stressed on “rejecting harming the interests of the people during this critical time in Aden, calling for joint efforts by all parties to meet the aspirations of the people and liberate remaining regions from the Houthi rebel militia.
