The Arab Coalition supporting the legitimate Yemeni government destroyed on Tuesday an unmanned drone, the Iran-backed Hothi rebel militia launched from Sana’a to attack civilian places in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The drone was however downed while still in the Yemeni airspace.
The Coalition’s spokesman Col. Turki al-Maliki said, “All the heated attempts by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia to launch drone attacks end up as a failure.”
In a statement quoted by the Saudi Press Agency, al-Maliki said the Coalition applies “best rules of engagement in warding off the threat of these drones to civilians.”
