National Army liberates new sites in Saada

Yemeni national army forces, on Wednesday, seized control over new positions in Baqim Front in the northern Province of Saada.

Backed by the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, the army was able to liberate a number of sites and hilltops east of the village “Al Muzher”, from which the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia tried to infiltrate into the army positions.

The army artillery, meanwhile, took part in the operation, bombing positions for the rebel militiamen, while coalition fighter jets targeted reinforcements on its way to the militia in the clashing sites in the same areas.

The fighting lelft killed and wounded among the Houthi militia and destroyed a number of its combat vehicles.
