Defense Minister inspects Army’s frontlines in Nihm Front

Yemen’s Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Mqdashi accompanied by Army’s Joint Operations Commander, Maj. Gen. Saghir Bin Aziz, visited army’s soldiers in Nihm frontlines on Saturday.

They conveyed  the greetings of His Excellency President Abed-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, his Deputy Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh, and the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Arab Coalition Lt. Gen. Fahad bin Turki.

The visit aimed to brief on the field situation for the conduct of combat operations of the 7th Military Region and they toured a number of sites in Nihm.

Al-Mqdashi expressed pride in the heroic deeds of the Yemeni national army, hailing the great sacrifices of the army soldiers in the fight against Iran-backed Houthi militia in Nihm Front and others regions over the country in protecting the state and its national issues.

“Army’s sacrifices will not be wasted and will remain immortal in the memory of Yemeni generations”, he said.

Al-Mqdashi also inspected the makeshift hospital that provide medical treatment to the army’s wounded in Nihm Front.

For his part, Commander of the 7th Military Region, Maj. Gen. Mohsen Al-Khabi, welcomed the defense minister’s visit, his attention, constant follow-up to the ongoing military operations and his efforts to overcome difficulties and provide possibilities.
