Army defeats Houthi militia attack in Hodeidah

The Yemeni national army forces late on Thursday defeated an attack by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in Hodeidah city, west of the country.

The militia’s attack , targeted liberated positions east of the city of Hodeidah, but the army managed to thwart it.

The Houthi rebel militia continues its violations of the UN truce in Hodeidah province, targeting the positions of the national army, while the army forces adhere to the truce, in accordance with the orders of the political and military leadership.
