Yemen’s Defense Minister, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Mqdashi, along with Marib’s Governor, Maj. Gen. Sultan Al-Arrada, lit the flame glorious of September 26 revolution.

They congratulated the political and military leadership represented by His Excellency President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, and his deputy, Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh, Prime Minister Dr. Moaen Abdul Malik on the 57th anniversary of the glorious September 26 revolution.

The ceremony took place Wednesday in Marib province, in the presence of the commander of Joint Operations, Maj. Gen. Saghir bin Aziz, several military and security leaders.

“Marib province will still hard to break and will continue protect the gains of revolution and the republican system, and will stand with the various regions and provinces and all honorable to confront the remnants of the Imamiate priesthood, which has been fighting the Yemenis with acts of sabotage in a miserable attempt to restore what is claimed to be the divine right holy”, they said.

The anniversary of 26 September commemorates aimed at ending backwardness and isolation, in addition to its six objectives characterized by clear perspective and deep awareness, and determining with precision and objectivity the features of the radical changes in Yemen’s reality in all aspects of life, socially, economically, developmentally, militarily and politically.
