MASAM removes 876 Houthi-laid landmines in one week

The Saudi Landmines Clearance project MASAM has removed 876 landmines during the third week of September 2019, planted by Iran-backed Houthi militia in different Yemeni regions including schools, houses and public roads.
MASAM said in a release the removed explosives are 23 anti-individual mines, 259 anti-tanks mines, 574 unexploded ammunition and 20 improvised explosive devices.
So far MASAM has extracted 90, 637 landmines of all kinds and various disguised shapes laid by the rebel militiamen in populated and civilian areas throughout the country.
