The general supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah, said that the aid provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2015 amounted to 14 billion and a half billion US dollars, of which 2.269.975.000 dollars through King Salman Relief Center, Saba News Agency reported.

In a panel discussion at cultural center in Brussels, Al-Rabiah affirmed Saudi Arabia’s keenness to provide humanitarian aid in a transparent and impartial manner to all regions of Yemen.

He explained that humanitarian work faces many challenges and difficulties represented by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia’s violations against humanitarian activity in Yemen, including by seizure of aid ships and convoys, and intimidation of humanitarian workers.
