Army repels militia attack in Hodeida

The National Army forces repelled an attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi rebel militia toward the town of Al-Duraihimy, south of Hodeida province, in the west of the country.
On Friday evening, a group of Houthi militiamen tried to advance towards army positions east of the city of Al-Darhimi, but was thwarted by the national army forces and was forced to retreat, after incurring losses in their ranks.
The Houthi rebel militia continues to target the positions of the national army, in Hodeida province, while the army forces remain committed to the UN ceasefire truce, in accordance with the directives of the political and military leadership.
