National army clears Houthi minefield in Hodiedah

The National army forces dismantled minefield planted by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in the south of Hodeida province on Saturday.
The engineering teams of the national army removed large quantities of anti-personal and anti-vehicles landmines and improvised explosive devices IEDs planted by the Houthi militia in the east of Manzar neighborhood.
The rebel militia deliberately disguised these mines and IEDs in various ways and forms in order to directly harm civilians.
The Houthi rebel militia planted thousands of landmines and IEDs in residential neighborhoods and main roads in various areas under its control, causing hundreds of civilian casualties, mostly women and children.
