Yemeni national army troops on Tuesday  conquered a new attack by the Iran-backed Houthi militia rebel south of Hodeida province in western Yemen.

Army troops marked a group of Houthi militiamen trying to advance towards liberated positions northwest of Hays district.

However, the army thwarted the Houthi militia’s attempt and forced it to withdrawal after fleeing its ranks.

The UN cease-fire agreement in Hodeidah province has been broken by the Houthi militia, while the army troops follow to the truce, in harmony with the orders of the political and military leadership.
