Saudi project MASAM removes 1325 Houthi-laid mines in the 1st week January

The Saudi project for demining in Yemen, MASAM, managed to pull out 1,668 mines during the first week of January 2020, planted by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in different parts of Yemen.
MASAM stated that its field teams demined 8 anti-personnel mines, 741 anti-tank mines, 18 explosive devices and 901 unexploded ordnance.
The project MASAM pointed out that the total of what has been removed since the beginning of the project is 121,813 mines laid by Iran-backed Houthi militia in main roads, lands, schools in various forms and sizes.
