Houthi militants including field leader killed in Taiz

A field leader in the Iran-backed Houthi militia was killed along with a number of his escorts on Wednesday in an ambush carried out by the army forces in the west of Taiz province, southwestern Yemen.
The army forces launched sudden attack against a group of Houthi militants in the west of al-Barh city, killing several militia elements including the field leader called Saleh Shaharah
Meanwhile, the army forces thwarted an infiltration attempt launched by Houthi rebels in the north of the Air Defense Military Camp and forced them to flee.
The Houthi militants suffered heavy casualties during the clashes.
