Yemeni Army liberates key sites eastern Taiz
Yemeni Armed Forces have gained significant advance on Saturday in Taiz province.
The progress was made following a large scale attack the army forces launched, earlier on the day, against sites of the Iran-backed militia eastern the city of Taiz.
A number of strategic positions overlooking the Hoban area were liberated from the militia’s control in the attack.
Also dozens of militia members were killed and injured and several of its combat vehicles destroyed.
“The battle is going on as per the plan and it will not be stopped until its goals realized, Col. Abdulbasset Albahr, deputy Chief of Moral Guidance in the Taiz Axis, said.
Meanwhile, the army forces in the past two days managed to liberate a number of important locations and hilltops in the west front of the city, where Houthi militia suffered major losses in life and equipment during the fighting
