Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh met on Sunday with Governor of Hodeidah governorate Hassan Ali Taher.

The Governor reported to the Vice President on the latest developments about combat operations in the battlefields where the Yemeni Armed forces headed by President Hadi have been battling Iran-backed Houthi militia.

Taher also cited the efforts have been made by the local authority to reinvigorate the role of security services in the government-held regions.

The Vice President applauded the heroic battles have been fought by the armed forces in the governorate of Hodeidah against the Houthi militants.

He urged further efforts to stand up to the Iranian spoiler scheme and the Houthi rebels’ coup.
