Deputy Minister of Health for Primary Healthcare, Ali Al-Waleedi reiterated that Yemen has so far been free of coronavirus.

He made the remarks during the launch of a campaign to raise public awareness on the dangers of Corona through and on precautionary measures that can be taken to prevent the spread of the virus.

The public awareness will be promoted by mosque preachers, journalists, and civil society organizations.

Al-Waleedi confirmed that the Ministry of Health will work in conjunction with the World Health Organization to implement awareness-raising campaigns in schools on a number of health hazards people face in their homes and how to avoid them.
