Houthi militia kills 16 civilians within 20 days

The Iran-backed Houthi militia murdered 16 civilians in last February, local human rights NGO said on Thursday.
The murder crimes are part of a total 105 violations Houthi militia committed in the last two-thirds of February against civilians in nine Yemeni Governorates.
The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms, which issued the report said seven children and two women were among the 16 murdered civilians.
Seven citizens were wounded and 53 cases of abduction and forcible disappearance took place in the same period against the civilians among them children and elderly people.
The Network’s field monitors documented 23 human rights abuses against citizens’ houses including storming, looting and damaging residences.
The report also registered five cases of looting citizens’ vehicles and one case of bombing a facility at the Salahadeen al-Ayyubi School in the Magzar district north of Marib province.
