Minister of Defense Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Maqdashi discussed Thursday latest field developments in a meeting brought together General Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Sagheer bin Aziz, Governors of Marib, Al-Jawf and Sana’a Governorates.

The meeting, in the presence of Commander of Arab Coalition Forces in Marib, highlighted increasing combat readiness of all military units to face challenges and danger ahead, and follow-up combat operations against Houthi rebel militia on various battlefronts.

The meeting also stressed the need for assuming responsibilities at this critical phase the homeland is going through and dealing firmly with any failure or dereliction. The Defense Minister stressed the significance of fostering morale of army forces, protecting security and stability in the government-held areas.

He ordered firm actions against any attempts aiming to destabilize public tranquility, and striking with an iron fist all subversive elements.

He said the national battle won’t stop until restoring the state institutions and defeating the theocratic Imamate militia of Houthis that seek to take Yemen back to the era of darkness and backwardness.

The meeting appreciated support of the brothers in the Saudi-led Coalition for restoring legitimate state in Yemen and getting free from Iran’s destructive agenda.
