Vice President Lt.Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh highly praised heroic fighting the armed forces have been engaged in against Houthi militia in the battlefields of Marib and Al-Bayda governorates.

The Vice President’s remarks came during two phone calls he made on Monday with the Governor of Marib Maj. General Sultan al-Arradah and Governor of Al-Bayda Maj. General Nasser Assawadi.

In the two phone call, the Vice President got familiar with the latest developments of the ongoing combat operations in the two governorates.

He re-welcomed the call by the UN Secretary General to establish truce and devote the efforts and resources to control coronavirus.

He blamed Houthi militia for its continuous escalations and violations against the Yemeni peoples and destructing the Yemenis’ assets, citing the militia’s attack on Safer oil pipeline pumping station and shelling the women prisoners in Taiz, as case-in- point.
