Army prevents infiltration in Serwah, militia shelling continues in Hajjah & Taiz

Yemen’s armed forces on Friday stopped an infiltration of Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia on a number of fronts, coinciding with continued shelling of army positions.
The army succeeded to prevent the militia infiltration attempts in various positions in Serwah front, west of Marib.
The Houthi militia is pushing its elements with combat vehicles to the Qaniya front, which is part of Al-Bayda province.
For now, the Houthi militia continued to shell various positions where the army is stationed in Taiz and Hajjah provinces.
The army continues to adhere to the orders of His Excellency President Field Marshal Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, which calls for a ceasefire in response to the call of the UN Secretary-General to deal with the consequences of the spread of the new Coronavirus (Covid 19).
