Army repels Houthi militia attacks in Nihm & Al-Dhale

Yemen’s armed forces late on Monday blocked infiltration attempts by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in various battle fronts.
The army succeeded in thwarting the rebel militia infiltration attempt in Nihm front, east of the capital Sana’a, following clashes with it.
At the same time, the army, backed by popular resistance, failed the Houthi militia an infiltration attempt towards a military position in Bab Al-Sa’ad front, in Qataba district, northwest of Al-Dhale province, during the clashes, the Houthi rebel militia suffered heavy human and material losses.
The army continues to adhere to the orders of His Excellency President Field Marshal Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, which calls for a ceasefire in response to the call of the UN Secretary-General to deal with the consequences of the spread of the new Coronavirus (Covid 19).
