Yemeni armed forces on Monday repelled an attack by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in Al-Bayda province, central Yemen.
In the early hours of yesterday morning, a crowd of Houthi militiamen tried to advance towards army positions in Qaniya front, but the army failed the attack and forced it to flee, killing and wounding a number of militia men, and destroying combat vehicles.
The army continues to follow the orders of the President Hadi, to ceasefire in response to the call of the UN.
