Houthi militia continues attacks on army positions in Al-Byda, Al-Dhale and Lahj

The Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia on Wednesday continued its attacks on several Yemeni armed forces positions in various battle fronts.

The Houthi rebel militia carried out heavy artillery shelling on the army on Qaniya front, northern Al-Bayda province, in conjunction with similar shelling targeting the army in Lahj province, southern Yemen.

In Al-Dhale southern Yemen, the rebel militia carried out artillery and rocket fire on army positions.

The army responded to Houthi militia attacks on those fronts, causing heavy losses.

Houthi militia has pushed both human and combat reinforcements to a number of fronts in Hajjah province, northwestern Yemen.

Earlier of Wednesday morning, the army repelled a major attack by the Houthi militia, forcing it to retreat and flee, killing and wounding a number of militants.

The army continues to follow the orders of the President Hadi, to ceasefire in response to the call of the UN.
