Yemeni armed forces on Sunday, repelled several attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia on several fronts.

Groups of Houthi militias tried to advance towards army positions in Nihm front, east of the capital Sana’a, but army forces foiled all these attempts and forced them to retreat.

The army also thwarted several attacks by Houthi militiamen, in Moris front, northern Al-Dhale province, south of Yemen, causing loss of life and equipment.

Moreover, Houthi militia shelled army positions in Al-Dhale and Hajjah provinces. The army forces have responded to these attacks, causing casualties.

Army continues to follow the orders of the President Hadi, to ceasefire in response to the call of the UN.
