Army repels Houthi militia attacks in Nihm & Al-Bayda fronts

The Iran-backed Houthi militia on Tuesday continued its attacks on several positions where army forces are stationed in different battle fronts.
In Nihm front east of the capital Sana’a, the army has repelled Houthi militia attacks, causing heavy losses of equipment and lives among the militia ranks.
In Qaniyah front northern Al-Bayda province, fierce clashes between army forces and Houthi militia were erupted, leaving many killed and wounded, in addition to inflicting heavy losses on equipment.
In Hajjah province, northwest Yemen, the rebel militia shelled army’s sites in various areas as the army forces responded to their attacks, resulted in heavy rebel losses.
The army continues to abide by the instructions of the President Hadi, to cease fire in response to the call of the UN to face the new Coronavirus “Coved-19”.
