Yemeni armed forces on Wednesday repelled an attack by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in Nihm front, east of the capital Sana’a.

Groups of rebel militiamen tried to advance towards army positions in Al-Jawf junction south of Nihm district, but the army monitored and foiled the attempt, after killing and wounding a number of Houthi militiamen and destroying a number of their combat vehicles.
