Army repels Houthi attacks & militia suffers heavy losses

Yemeni armed forces on Thursday repelled attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in several fronts, causing heavy losses.
Groups of Houthi militias tried to advance towards army positions in the western area of Taiz province, but the army failed and forced them to flee.
Moreover, the army failed attempts by the Houthi militia to advance towards various positions in Nihm front east of the capital Sana’a, but the army inflicted the militia losses of life and equipment.
In Hajjah province in north-western Yemen,the army repelled an attack by the Houthi militia and forced it to flee.
On Thursday morning, the army liberated positions in eastern Al-Jawf province, from which Houthi attacks were launched before the army launched a counter-offensive, causing heavy losses in numbers and equipment.
