Yemen’s armed forces have made progress on the ground against the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in Qania front, east of Al-Bayda province in central Yemen, said the commander of the Al-Bayda Axis, Brig. Gen. Abdul-Rabb al-Asbhi.
In a statement to September Net Brig. Gen. Al- Asbhi said that the Houthi militia suffered heavy losses, killed and wounded dozens of its elements, by army fire supported by tribesmen, during the militia’s attempts to sneak into army positions.
He added that the Houthi militia is pushing crowds of children to death, covering up these crimes and defeats with rumors and promoting false victories.
He stressed that the army has highly combat readiness, adding, “We will go without tiring or stopping until the terror militia is defeated.”
He honored the national role of the tribesmen in standing with the national army and supporting it in the battle to counter Houthi militia.
He also honored the role of a Saudi-led coalition for the army and its air strikes that destroyed enemy positions and reinforcements during recent fighting.
