Army moves forward & Houthi militia suffers constant defeats in various fronts

Yemen’s armed forces, under the command of the President Abdurabu Mansour Hadi, backed by tribesmen and the Saudi-led Arab Coalition supporting Yemeni legitimate government, are engaged in ongoing confrontations with the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in more than one front, in which the militia suffers constant defeats.

Several fronts in Al-Jawf, Sana’a, Marib and Bayda provinces witnessed heavy fighting, during which the army and tribesmen made significant field advances.

In Al-Bayda province in central Yemen, the army succeeded to thwart the Houthi militias infiltration into army positions after the militia suffered heavy losses.

Moreover,Yemen’s armed forces have made progress on the ground against the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in Qania front, east of Al-Bayda province in central Yemen, said the commander of the Al-Bayda Axis, Brig. Gen. Abdul-Rabb al-Asbhi.

In a statement to September Net Brig. Gen. Al- Asbhi said that the Houthi militia suffered heavy losses, killed and wounded dozens of its elements, by army fire supported by tribesmen, during the militia’s attempts to sneak into army positions.

He added that the Houthi militia is pushing crowds of children to death, covering up these crimes and defeats with rumors and promoting false victories.

He stressed that the army has highly combat readiness, adding, “We will go without tiring or stopping until the terror militia is defeated.”

He honored the national role of the tribesmen in standing with the national army and supporting it in the battle to counter Houthi militia.

He also honored the role of a Saudi-led coalition for the army and its air strikes that destroyed enemy positions and reinforcements during recent fighting.

.In Nihm front, east of Sana’a, the army supported by tribesmen made new progress on the ground, succeeded to take control of important positions, after killing and wounding dozens of militiamen.

Meanwhile, army artillery shelled Houthi militia positions and reinforcements in the same front and the militia suffered heavy losses of life and equipment.

In Al-Jawf province, acting commander of the 6th Military Region, Maj. Gen. Amin al-Waeli, confirmed in a statement to September Net that the Houthi militia has been suffered heavy casualties both in life and equipment.

Defense Ministry and the Head of the Yemeni General Staff confirmed that the armed forces are moving forward in liberating all Yemeni provinces under the control of the Houthi militia. It also confirmed the course of the battle against Houthi militias until Yemen becomes a source of international and regional security.
