The Iran-backed Houthi militia on Saturday, targeted by shelling a water well in Madgal district, Marib, benefiting thousands of displaced people.

The director of the executive unit of the Displaced Persons Camps Department said the devastation of the well was aimed at cutting off water to the district’s residents and displaced families.

He said the local authority leadership has quickly directed solutions to provide citizens and displacement camps with filtered water.
