The commander of the 7th Military Region, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Hassan Gobran, confirmed that the Yemeni armed forces are fighting against the Houthi militia in various areas and fronts east of the capital Sana’a, and other battle fronts throughout Yemen, and militia has received recurring defeats.

He said that the Houthi militia, in the past days suffered heavy losses on the level of human and combat equipment, stressing that all attempts by the militia to make progress failed, and that all its reinforcements were targeted by the army.

General Gobran said the army battle, supported by popular resistance and tribesmen, is an extension of the struggles of fathers and grandfathers against Imami rule.
