Yemeni armed forces on Saturday launched a successful attack operation for groups of Houthi militiamen, east of al-Hazm city in Al-Jawf province, killing and wounding a number of militiamen and retaking various weapons.

Brig. Gen. Jihad Al-Daqaimi, commander of the 9th Infantry Brigade, said the army trapped groups of Houthi militia into a tight ambush, killing and wounding a number of them, and forcing the rest to flee.
