Minister of Defense Lt. Gen. Mohammed Ali Al-Maqdashi inspected Tuesday military units in the 7th Military Region.

General Al-Maqdashi was briefed on ongoing combat operations against the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia. He affirmed that Yemenis and their armed forces determined to pursue the liberation battle to defeat the Houthi coup and restore state to move towards establishing a secure future within a federal state stands on justice and equality.

The Defense Minister highlighted sacrifices and efforts offered by the brethren in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen. He renewed standing by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia.
