Yemen’s armed forces, backed by the popular resistance, on Friday made new ground progress in Jabal Murad front, southern Marib province.

Col. Ahmed Abdrabbo Al-Majidia, commander of the western sector in the front, told September Net that the army and resistance made new ground progress earlier on Friday, and recovered strategic positions from the Houthi militia’s grip.

He added that the battle resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of Houthi militiamen, and the recovery of various weapons.
