Yemen’s Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Maqdashi chaired Thursday a meeting in Marib joined Army’s Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Saghir Bin Aziz and Army’s Gen. Inspector, Adel Al-Qumeiri.

The meeting pointing out the key role playing by Armed Forces and Popular Resistance in defending the homeland and protecting its gains.

“The process of liberating Yemen is moving towards fulfilling the aspirations of the people by restoring the entire soil, uprooting the roots of the remnants of the Imamate and priesthood, and countering the militias of rebellion and terrorism,” he added.

He appreciated the great sacrifices exerted by army forces and popular resistance backed by Saudi-led Arab coalition against Iran-backed Houthi coup militias.
