A civilian was killed and three others were seriously wounded Saturday after the the Houthi militia targeted a residential neighborhood northern Taiz Governorate.

A local source told September Net that the Houthi militia conducted heavy artillery shelling this evening against civilians and houses in Alrwadah, one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in the city.

As a preliminary statistic, the shelling killed one civilian and injured three others, among them children, the source added.

The Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia has been constantly attacking residential neighborhoods in Taiz with rockets and mortars rounds as well sniper shootings, leaving many civilians dead and injured most of who are women and children.
