Al-Asbahi warns of using Yemen by Houthis, Iran to harm regional, international security
Yemen’s Ambassador to Morocco Ezuddin al-Asbahi has warned of Houthi-Iran plots of using Yemen’s strategic location to threaten regional and international security.
In a press conference held by Yemen’s embassy here on latest developments in Yemen, al-Asbahi confirmed dangers of continuous crimes by the militia for targeting civilians and shelling displaced people camps in Marib.
He renewed government’s welcome to all initiatives, the recent one Saudi Initiative, for regaining order and realizing security and stability in Yemen and in the region.
” The peace track is clear through agreed upon references; the international legitimacy’s resolutions led by Resolution 2216, the Gulf Initiative and its executive mechanism and outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference,” he said.
He re-warned of dangerous situation of Safir Oil Tanker as Houthi militia rejects all steps made by Yemen and the UN for avoiding oil leak disaster, which could lead to regional and international disaster.
