 Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Mohammed al-Maqdashi has confirmed that it’ll never be accepted Sana’a & all of Yemen becoming a Persian colony, or a transit ground to threaten Arab national security, maritime lines and vital global interests.

 Lt. Gen. al-Maqdashi has made the statement during a visit to military units north and west of Marib province.

 During the visit, al-Maqdashi met with unit and sector leaders, battalions and field commanders.

 Defense minister also was briefed on the field military operations along the combat scene from the Head of the War Operations Authority, Maj. Gen. Nasser al-Thibyani, and the commander of the 7th Military Region, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Hassan Gibran.

 Al-Maqdashi conveyed to the leaders and soldiers the greetings and congratulations of the political leadership represented by His Excellency the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Abdrabbo Mansour Hadi, commander-in-chief of the armed forces, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

 Defense minister confirmed that Yemeni people, armed forces and legitimate leadership stand in the battle of destiny against Iranian terrorism and its Houthi militias.

 Lt. Gen. al-Maqdashi honored the support of the Saudi-led coalition backing Yemeni legitimate government in the battle against the Iranian project in the Arab area.
