 Army’s spokesman Brig. Gen. Abdu Mugali said that the military operations against the Iranian- backed Houthi militia keep ongoing in the different battlefields over the country.

This came during a press conference held Monday in Marib province to review the latest military developments achieved by Army forces in the multiple battlefields.

“The army was able to liberate several key positions after battles with militias resulted in killing many militiamen and destroying heavy weapons as militias keep receiving many defeats by army forces in the various war fronts”, Mujali pointed out.

In Al-Jawf, Taiz, Al-Bayda and Al-Dhale provinces the army has made strategic achievements, repelling the militias’ attacks and inflicting heavy casualties among its ranks.

Mugali called on the international community and the United Nations to take responsibility for the acts of terrorist Houthi militia against civilians and displaced persons, imposing sanctions on its leaders.

He valued the role of the Saudi-led coalition in backing Yemeni legitimate government in battle against the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia.
