VP phone calls Chief of Staff over Houthi terror attacks
Vice President, the Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Ali Mohsen Saleh, made a phone call to the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant-General Saghir Hammoud bin Aziz, to learn about field developments and the ongoing violations committed by the Houthi militias against civilians.
The Vice President heard from the Chief of Staff a briefing on the progress of the military operations and the victories achieved by army on the various fronts against the Iranian-backed Houthi militias, praising the steadfastness and sacrifices of the heroes of the armed forces, security men and popular resistance in the face of the Houthi aggression.
He was also briefed on the details of the terrorist crime committed by the Houthi coup militia by firing three ballistic missiles targeting a populated neighborhood in the city of Marib today, which has led to the death and injury of a number of children and women and damage to civilians and their property.
The Vice President stressed that the terrorist militia prove to the Yemeni people, the region and the world, day after day, their contempt for the blood of Yemenis, their rejection of everything that would lead to saving blood, and their indifference to the daily tragedies the Yemeni people suffers as a result of their coup and war.
The Vice President expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, praying for them and for the speedy recovery of the wounded.
