 Yemen’s defense minister Mohammad Al-Maqdashi on Wednesday inspected armed forces units in the seventh military region.

 During the visit he was briefed on the latest developments on the ground and the conditions of the soldiers on various fronts of the fighting against the Iran-backed Houthi militias, praising the level of combat readiness and the high morale of the soldiers.

 Al-Maqdashi conveyed to the soldiers the greetings of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, commander-in-chief of the armed forces, congratulating on the anniversaries of the Yemeni revolution, the 59th of the Sep. 26th and 58th of Oct. 14th.

 Defense Minister stressed that the Houthi militia, backed by Iran, would not achieve anything by conspiring against Yemen, and that the Iranian project would be vanished forever.

 Al-Maqdashi expressed pride and gratitude in all those who stood up and supported Yemeni legitimacy and Yemen’s armed forces.

He also praised the popular resistance and tribes in Marib, Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda and all provinces.

 During the visit, Al-Maqdashi was accompanied by the chief of staff’s adviser, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Al-Sabari.
