Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammer al-Eryani appealed to the UN’s envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) the ordeal of the four journalists who have been subjected to unbearable suffering in the detention centers of the terrorist Houthi militias on top of his tasks in the new negotiations about the prisoners which are set to start soon in Switzerland .

He noted that the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias have continued to use the unfortunate journalists ( Abdulkhalif Amran, Tawfiq al-Mansouri, Harith Hamid and Akram al-Walidee) as a barging chip for blackmailing.

The Minister stated that the four journalists have been kidnapped, enforced disappeared and brutally tortured for the eighth years in the militias’ jails, subjected to illegal trails and sentenced to death.
