762 Houthi-laid landmines removed by Masam in July’s second week.

In the second week of July, the “Masam” project by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center successfully removed a total of 762 landmines. These dangerous mines, planted by the Houthi militia, were found in different governorates of Yemen.
The extracted mines included 120 anti-tank mines, two anti-personnel mines, 633 unexploded ordnance, and 7 explosive devices. By mid-July, the total number of mines removed was 1,334. Since the start of July, the project has removed 407,152 mines.
These randomly planted mines by the Houthi militia have threatened the lives of many civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
