The United States has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to achieving a comprehensive solution that addresses the aspirations of all Yemenis.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in a letter to President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, expressed the United States’ dedication to continuing its efforts for peace and recovery in Yemen.

Mr. Blinken emphasized the importance of bilateral partnership and ongoing collaboration with the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemen Government for the establishment of a stable and prosperous Yemeni future.

The Secretary of State valued positive outcomes from recent consultations with the Council’s Chairman and highlighted the importance of building on this partnership for an inclusive and sustainable settlement meeting Yemenis’ aspirations.
