Consultation and Reconciliation Commission calls for exceptional economic solutions
The Consultation and Reconciliation Commission recently held a video conference, chaired by Muhammad Al-Ghaithi, discussing various aspects of their goals and strategy.
This included solidifying support for the Leadership Council, bringing together political factions, rejuvenating state institutions, exploring peace prospects, and enhancing relations with allied countries.
They especially focused on a mechanism for addressing pressing national issues.
The commission has greenlighted the formation of the permanent committees under its protocols, such as the political, cultural and media, reconciliation and transitional justice, social, and the rights and freedoms committee.
These committees will ensure fair participation leading to cohesive work within the commission.
Moreover, the meeting took stock of the temporary committees engaged in bolstering dialogues to expand agreement and consolidate legitimacy within the commission.
