In today’s session, the Presidential Leadership Council, led by President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, discussed national issues, particularly the economic and services situation in Aden and government-held governorates.

The Council emphasized the importance of securing an adequate fuel supply for electricity and called for stronger monitoring of vital services to address any deficiencies.

They reiterated their commitment, along with the government, to improving monetary and financial stability, accessing public revenues, and implementing comprehensive reforms with international support.

Citizens were reassured that measures would be taken to ensure regular salary payments and funds for importing essential goods, with assistance from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The Council also discussed regional and international efforts to renew the ceasefire and revive the political process to end the Houthi coup and restore peace, security, and development across the country.

A warning was issued to the Houthi militias regarding the consequences of their ongoing military attacks and human rights violations.

Council urges international community to address Houthi militias’ actions and support Yemen’s path to self-determination.
