Yemen and Turkey’s Defense Ministers met in Istanbul for crucial discussions

Yemen’s Defense Minister, General Lieutenant Mohsen al-Da’iri, had an important meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Yasar Guler, in Istanbul.
They discussed ways to cooperate in training and qualification.
General al-Da’iri praised Turkey’s advancements in its military industry, especially what he saw at the IDFE Show.
He also pointed out the challenges Yemen faces due to the stubbornness of the Houthi terrorist militia, who reject international peace efforts and threaten international navigation and trade routes.
The Turkish defense minister warmly welcomed General al-Da’iri, expressing his admiration for the Yemeni-Turkish relations and expressing his hopes for Yemen to regain security, stability, and peace.
