Chairman of the Leadership Council meets with Consultation and Reconciliation Commission

President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with Council member Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, met with Muhammad Al-Ghaithi, Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, and his deputies Sakhr Al-Wajih, Jamila Ali Rajaa, and Akram Al-Amiri at Ma’ashiq Palace on Saturday.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council was briefed by the Chairman and Deputies of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission on their work in the previous period. They also discussed future programs related to reconciliation, justice, and the Commission’s role in various areas such as politics, economy, society, media, culture, and the protection of rights and freedoms.

President Al-Alimi informed the commission’s board about the current developments in the local situation, including his recent visits to the governorates of Hadramaut and Al-Mahra. He also highlighted the importance of economic and financial reforms aimed at attracting regional and international funding and grants.

Both the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and its member emphasized the significance of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission focusing on key issues that align with the exceptional circumstances caused by the war waged by Houthi militias, supported by the Iranian regime, against the Yemeni people and their national interests.

The President expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Consultation Commission and its vital role in supporting the Council. He emphasized the importance of strengthening its presence, facilitating dialogue, and building trust among all national components.
